TCU

Transmission (TCU) tuning

Shift logic, torque limits and clutch behaviour calibrated to match the engine tune — so the gearbox stops holding the car back.

An engine file raises torque; the gearbox controller still works to the factory numbers. That shows up as torque cuts on shifts, slipping or lazy kick-down. A TCU file aligns the transmission with the new engine output.

Typical work

  • Torque limit tables raised to match the engine calibration.
  • Shift points and shift speed for each driving mode.
  • Clutch and line pressure for dual-clutch and torque-converter units.
  • Kick-down and launch behaviour.

We work on common VAG DSG units (DQ250, DQ381 and others), ZF 8HP and further platforms. Select your TCU in the panel; if it is not listed, open a request with the read and we will confirm.
