Performance tuning files
Stage 1 and Stage 2 calibrations written by hand for the exact ECU, software version and hardware you send us.
A factory calibration leaves margin for every climate, fuel grade and service interval the manufacturer has to cover. A performance file uses part of that margin in a controlled way: more torque where the engine and gearbox can carry it, cleaner throttle response, and boost that builds without overshoot.
What we adjust
- Torque requests and limiters, kept inside what the transmission is rated for.
- Boost targets and wastegate control on turbocharged engines.
- Fuelling, injection timing and smoke limits on diesels.
- Ignition and knock strategy on petrol engines.
- Throttle mapping so the pedal feels linear, not jumpy.
Stage 1 or Stage 2?
Stage 1 is for a stock car. Stage 2 assumes supporting hardware — usually intake, downpipe or intercooler — and tells us in the request what is fitted. If you are unsure, pick Stage 1 and add a note; we will ask before writing anything the hardware cannot support.
Power figures on our vehicle pages are typical results for a healthy, stock vehicle. Actual results depend on condition, fuel and hardware.
